Hope for Today

Persecution of Aliens

Recently my wife Kate and I have noticed an unsettling trend where we live on Long Island. Multiple signs like the one below have popped up around the Manhassett/Port Washington area. (Sorry that the picture is not so great…I guess the iPhone is not all it’s cracked up to be.)

This anti-alien sentiment gave us pause as to whether or not Long Island is a place where we can/want to raise our children. Can’t our children grow up in a place where humans and aliens can co-exist? I dream of such a world. In fact I think…
