Been a while since I attempted a thematic playlist, so here goes. Originally wanted this to be solely Jericho-related, but alas, I had to pad it out with some other, er, oldies.

  7. Jericho – John Fullbright
  8. The Caves of Jericho – The Band
  9. The Walls Fell Down – The Marbles
  10. Israel – The Bee Gees

  12. Delilah – Teddy Thompson
  13. As Strong As Samson – Procol Harum

Oooooh, yeah, totally forgot about that one. From that period when Garth Hudson was playing with them! So cool. Small consolation but I did put a cover of their “let the day begin” on the last playlist…

Very curious to hear what else I missed.

    Another glaring omission:

  4. Just discussing this in a Bible study this morning. So many Biblical songs out there and few notice. Disguised as romance often. (Peter Gabriel’s In Your Eyes, not about a girl.)
A sticky social media request: put these playlists on Spotify. Just looked for mockingbirdnyc to subscribe. If you are there, not coming up.
