In honor of Shakey’s memoir, which came out a couple of weeks ago, here’s a live performance of the only Christological statement of his that I’m aware of, “Star of Bethlehem.” This version contains a powerful penultimate verse that he didn’t include when he recorded it for American Stars n Bars:
