    The comments are also very interesting. Here is an interesting portion of the author's response to a comment:

    "…my conversion experience left me with about NO feelings, passionate or otherwise. So it wasn't … like I was suddenly Joe Christian. To be perfectly honest, as I reached for the doorknob of the closet to come out of it again (har, har, har), I thought, "I can't believe that now I'm supposed to GO somewhere on Sunday mornings." The second thought I had was, "I don't care; I'm not trying to convert anybody." That's the one thing I knew, right away, had to go."
