imo, THE ABSOLUTE WORST Christmas special of all time is Jean Shepherd's "Christmas Story".
I have friends who love it and watch it as a marathon, but I just want to throw something at the TV when I see it!
Love or hate, I'm sure there are strong feelings both ways!
There is something about this X-mas Special that has "Nazareth" all over it. I loved the procession of the Wookie. I wonder if we could work that into our Candle Light Service this year.
Also who knew Chewbaca became a Protestant minister after the sucess of the rebellion (I am sure PZ did!) I loved the scene at the end with him catechizing his family.
Love the little wookies! And did Carrie Fisher do her own singing?
I think Jacob is just so completely on to the truth of this, for all of us.
This Special was made and packaged in Nazareth.
It may well be the best Christmas Special ever, simply by definition.
Oh, and yes, Chewie studied with Martin Chemnitz later (by extension) at the Theologische Realschule on Dagobah. This much we know.
